In 2014, we invited AON Hewitt to conduct an Employee Engagement Survey in line with their Best Employer Accreditation.
The level of an employee’s engagement is absolutely vital because it shows how much they care about their work, their organisation and making a contribution to achieving the company's vision – in our case the Seven Foundations.
All our employees took part in the 2014 survey. It included 81 questions divided into categories such as Engagement, Brand, Career Opportunities, Change Management, Communication, Customer Focus, Diversity & Inclusion, and Empowerment/Autonomy.
We were absolutely thrilled to achieve an engagement score of 92%, compared to 66% for the ANZ high performers’ benchmark.
In another survey highlight, 95% of our employees agreed with the statement, ‘Given the opportunity, I tell others great things about working here’. We couldn't ask for more!
