Eden Brae Homes have again been recognised as NSW’s HIA Professional Major Builder of the Year. This prestigious award is given in recognition of the contribution that Eden Brae has made to the industry and the outstanding and industry leading service and quality offered to its customers.
This is the third year since 2006 that Eden Brae has received this award.

NSW Professional Major Builder of the Year wins for their impressive business initiatives.
Eden Brae enjoyed success at the 2009 Housing Industry Association NSW CSR Housing Awards in Sydney on Saturday night.
The Baulkham Hills company won the NSW Professional Major Builder of the Year.
Judges particularly liked that Eden Brae ‘have invested time in staff training. Eden Brae have appointed a full time OH&S manager and integrated IT systems in their business. We were impressed with these business initiatives as well as their customer service systems including the mystery shopper idea,’ they said.
HIA’s Partner for the title is Austral Bricks.
Congratulating Eden Brae, HIA’s NSW Executive Director, Graham Wolfe, said the awards were an outstanding demonstration of the housing industry’s capacity, innovation and resilience in troubled times.
‘Despite being in the midst of a significant downturn when constructing these projects, HIA members have never lost their commitment to excellence, and support for these awards has been outstanding.
‘Our major winners tonight go forward to HIA’s national awards next year and we wish them every success,’ he said.
Mr Wolfe paid a special tribute to the event’s sponsors and partners, and especially CSR, ‘which has been an outstanding supporter for these awards over many years,’ he said.
The Awards were held in front of a sellout black-tie audience at the Parkside Ballroom in the Sydney Convention Centre, including special guest NSW Treasurer Eric Roozendaal. Speakers included HIA’s NSW Executive Director Graham Wolfe and Rod Brookes, The State Sales Manager CSR Performance Systems.
Entertainment during the evening, which had a James Bond theme, was provided by the Ohh James Bond Tribute Show. The MC was Tom Williams.
HIA is Australia’s peak building body representing more than 45,000 builders, suppliers and trade contractors. The industry is responsible for development projects, new homes, renovations and additions worth more than $43 billion each year and generating about 350,000 jobs.
